What holds us up?
A participatory exploration of sustainability and the art of letting go.
You are invited to take part in a unique public performance that explores the structures that constrict us in today’s society. On a journey towards inner and outer sustainability, what do we need to let go of in order to act?
Led and directed by Emelie Empo Enlund, with music by Eric Sjögren, join a team of performance artists including Toby Gunn, Jasmine Attié, Linnéa Sundling, Alexander Dam, Wessam Darweash and Angela X Ariza.
Together with members of the public we will create a shared experience.
When: Friday October 20
13.00–19.00 (performance during all opening hours) with last admission 18.30.
After performance mingle with artists from 19.00. Light refreshments will be served.

This performance is part of a SIDA funded collaboration with CEMUS, the Center for Environment and Development Studies. This project aims to explore the 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development using artistic forms.

Emelie Empo Enlund is a street dancer, performance artist and member of the dance collective JUCK.
As well as collaborations with Danshuset in Stockholm, Empo has been a dance fellow at Uferstudios in Berlin, working on the performance “We Love Holocene”. She is also one of the participants in the international art project “The Dark Mountain Project”, which explores the role of art in the climate crisis era.
